Cousin Brenden came to visit

and we had tons of fun!!!

I showed him how to play with my toys,

and I showed uncle Patrick, cousin Brenden & Hagen how to play on my new mat.

We decided to talk a walk and mom suggested a hike in the woods. Aunt Jodi & cousin Brenden are all ready for our hike,

and so am I (I love my backpack!).

We took a walk up Mount Mesnard. Mom had to do all the hard work to get me to the top because dad was at work.

We took a little break (so mom could stretch her back).

I was pretty hungry when we got done (riding in a backpack is a lot of work, after all)!

I finally made it to Camp!

Does this mean I get to bow hunt this year?!?

Tour da Woods

Mom and dad woke me up at 6:30 this morning so we could go to Munising so dad could race in Tour da Woods. It was 50 degrees and raining when we got there, but mom insisted that we had to watch the start of the race.

I fell asleep while dad was racing so mom had to watch him finish from the car. When I woke up mom was excited because I guess dad did pretty good. Once I woke up I was happy to hang out with him at the finish line!
We had to wait for some of dad's friends to finish the race so I took another quick catnap in the backpack (in the rain). Don't worry dad kept me under an awning so I wouldn't get too wet.

The sun finally came out so we took a quick drive to Miner's Castle.

Did I mention that dad did great today? He took second place!!

I'm on the move . . .

. . . and using my new found skill to chase Hagen or get to his toys!
